Our beloved host of the Shorelines Fishing Report, Jeff Ilardi suffered a heart attack on Sunday, April 8th. He had been out fishing and was able to make it back to the dock at Scipio Creek before the attack happened. He was taken to Weems Memorial Hospital and then flown via helicopter to Bay Medical in Panama City.
Over the last few days he has been under sedation. Today, they removed his heart pump and his heart is pumping blood on its own. In the next few days Doctors should be removing the breathing tube and hopefully will bring him out of sedation.
